Meghan's bootcamp takes the straightforward raglan-sleeve pullover as a blank canvas and walks you through all the ways to make it your own. Like our book Ready Set Raglan (included with the workshop), we'll walk through blueprints for 8 distinct raglans and coach you through choosing perfect-for-you necklines, hemlines, ribbing, stitch textures, and fancy raglan increases.
We’ll also go over the basic structure of a top-down raglan sweater and talk about how increases work to create the classic yoke. We’ll talk about simple increases and their appearance and benefits, and then move on to fancier increases like cables, lace and the Estonian flower motif. We’ll also consider how to substitute an increase in an existing sweater pattern.
When not in class enjoy time to craft, socialize, or take a walk around the beautiful property.
