Combination Knitting Class

What is combination knitting?

Combination Knitting blends Western and Eastern styles of knitting. You will learn the two different ways to mount your stitches on your needle and how to use them. If you want your ribbing to look better and/or if you are a picker (continental) and you want to simplify your purls, this class is for you. During class, you will be practicing combination knitting by making a ribbed hat called Two by Two by Anne Gagnon (free pattern on Ravelry).

Materials:
Needles: Size US6 (4mm) 16” circular needles and double pointed needles
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn, approximately 200 yards / 180 meters
Suggested Yarns: Fonty Super Tweed or Berroco Millstone Tweed (2 balls required)
Notions: Four stitch markers and a tapestry needle
Please bring a copy of the pattern.

Pre-Requisites
Students should be able to cast on, knit and purl, and knit in the round independently.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. There is a $2 cancellation fee, and 5 days notice must be given to cancel without additional penalty. Cancellations within 5 days of the class start date are subject to a 50% charge. No-Shows and cancellations made within 2 days of class are not eligible for refund.
