Knit for Food Knit-a-thon 2026

A fundraiser for Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels.

Knit for Food Knit-a-thon is a 12 hour knitting marathon to raise funds and awareness for food insecurity. 100% of funds raised will be equally divided between Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels.

In 2021 we, the knitters, raised $265,810!
In 2022 we raised $271,761!!
In 2023 we raised $340,000!!!
In 2024 we raised $379,010!!!
In 2025 we raised $530,840
That means knitters have raised over $1.7 MILLION with our knitting needles in five years!! Can you even believe that?!

There are two ways to support the Knit-a-thon: You can sign up to knit/craft for 12 hours OR you can donate!

To sign up, simply click the FUNDRAISE button, set up a profile, choose a team (Join Team Knit ATX) and start fundraising! 

To donate just click the DONATE button at the top right of the Knit ATX Team page.

Meet Up Event

Join us on Saturday, April 11th, from 10am to 6pm, and Knit For Food. We will host knitters and crocheters as we stream the zoom programming from the Knit For Food organizers on our tv.

Bring your project, and bring some snacks to settle in to knit along with BettyAnn as she represents Knit ATX during the 2026 Knit For Food Knit-A-Thon.
