Welcome to Rigid Heddle Weaving

Weaving! Is it a mystery? Not anymore. In this beginner friendly class, students will learn how to use the Schacht Cricket Loom to weave a beautiful scarf.

Intro to Weaving consists of two sessions, one week apart.

The first session is three hours and each student will learn how to set up a loom and begin their first weaving project. At the end of the session, students will take the loom home to continue weaving on it. They will have six days to finish their scarf.

The second session is only one hour long. Students will have a few minutes to complete weaving, if necessary. Then, they will learn how to safely remove their project from the loom and learn the techniques on how to properly finish their project.
